Muhammad Ali currently serves as a Lecturer at the International College of Engineering, Xi'an University of Technology. His primary areas of research includes Rock Mechanics, Failure Analysis, the utilization of acoustic emissions for fracture analysis, monitoring and prediction techniques and the investigation of rock and coal burst phenomena.
