Lindsay has been an IT lecturer at JCU since 1999, teaching and working in various fields of Information Technology over that time including Programming, Web Design and Development, Multimedia, Video Production, 3D Graphics, Business IT and Design Thinking.
Dr Huang holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from The University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. He is the program coordinator for the Master of Engineering (Professional) (Internet of Things and Data Engineering). Dr Huang is a PhD advisor and an expert in deep learning and wireless communications. He is the principal researcher of the Intelligent Computing and Communications (ICC) Lab.
Albert Tang is currently a Lecturer in Engineering at James Cook University. His research works are related to piezoelectric-based monitoring techniques.
Dr Eric Wang is an early career academic and joined JCU in 2017. He has authored more than 20 high quality papers, and participated in many national and international research projects. He was the runner-up in The Asia-Pacific Robot Contest (ABU Robocon) 2006, and received the best paper award from the IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference, Cancun, Mexico, in 2011.
Prof Wenxian Lin is the Head of Discipline of Mechanical Engineering at the College of Science&Engineering of James Cook University. His research interests encompass computational fluid dynamics, buoyancy-driven flows, turbulent flows, stratified flows, heat transfer, etc.
Elsa Antunes is a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering in the College of Science & Engineering, James Cook University. She obtained her PhD degree in Chemical Engineering from James Cook University in 2018. Elsa’s PhD was focused on understanding the impact of microwave pyrolysis conditions on biochar properties produced from diverse biomass. Before joining James Cook University, Elsa was Head of Advanced Ceramics Department capitalising more than 10 years employment within industry undertaking research projects.
